The beloved Greek, Middle Eastern food announces it is reopening this week and it's comeback is exciting in the Tompkins community!

February 15th, 11 am- 5 pm open Wednesday- Saturday.

The food truck owner Brian Horvath had an optimistic upbringing serving his gyro, breakfast pitas, salads, curly fries, and falafels. He prepared these food items and more in Downtown Ithaca Commons including Ithaca Famers, and at multiple music events including the Ithaca Music Festival and Apple Harvest Festival.

Over the years they've built up a reputable name for themselves as their food and customer service are constantly getting affirmations. 2012 they were stationed in the West end where customers could dine in. In 2017 due to their lease renewal being denied, they moved on to their ready and on-the-go food truck, which we know and love On the Street Pitas.

Since then On the Street Pitas has continued to bring forth delicious food with fresh and clean ingredients so customers like their website promote to "come back again and again!" With a 5-star rating on yelp, the food establishment has continued to fulfill its customers' needs. Multiple reviews and blogs have been published on their experience with their tasty food and overall dining quality. As a customer myself, I can attest to its food meeting the needs of the positive raves.

They're active with their community and their online presence on Facebook and Instagram. Offering concession work positions and providing updated menu images they keep their customers reminded through their phones.

Will you be making a pit stop at On the Street Pita for lunch this Wednesday?
